About the Event

Looking back over the last few decades, it can be said that young Muslims have never had such a tough time developing modern, well-grounded Islamic spiritual identities as today. Fatima El-Hindi, the founder of Nas Learning Center, has been offering Islamic studies, Arabic, and tafsir classes for Muslim youth over the last twenty-five years to create spiritual and community havens where adolescents and young adults can feel comfortable expressing themselves and connecting their faith to their daily life.

Our emphasis on understanding the Qur'an in its original form empowers young people to develop a clearer sense of what it means to be Muslim, and a “good Muslim,” in today’s complicated world. Both speakers and non-speakers of Arabic are able to engage equally with the course content, which presents the Qur’an as an accessible and universal text. Students learn how to apply the beautiful and sacred teachings to their own lives in a practical and meaningful way.

Some of our foundational lessons center around establishing and maintaining good habits, forming healthy relationships (even romantic ones), and differentiating between the ego and intuition. Students are welcome to join the course at any stage of their learning journey.

The course meets over Zoom for 2 semesters (Fall & Spring) on Sundays at 11:00 am US Eastern Time. Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

Cost: $495 per Semester or $110 per Month.

Please call or email the center for late registrations.
