PLACEMENT AND PROMOTION

Placement: 

Students are placed in grade levels that are most conducive to their maximum learning. Classes consist of students in close age groups. Students must be 4 years old by December 1st of the previous year to be admitted into Pre–k. Exceptions may be made at the teacher’s discretion.

Promotion: 

Students are promoted to higher level at the end of each year at the recommendation of the faculty. Promotion is based on academic performance, which consists of:

- Class participation

- Completion of homework

- Comprehensive exams

Grading:

Each teacher is free to use the grading system of their choice; however, a parent-teacher conference is critical to discuss the student’s progress.
