The Loving and learning Quran for Children series is as its name implies; to promote a love and learning of the Holy Quran with children of elementary school age. The books have simple understandable reading material in the English language that is suitable for young children and include fun activities (click here for an activity sample) and illustrations to gain their interest in learning the meaning and concepts of the verses in the Quran. The series are geared towards children in academic grades 1 through 5 (or ages 6 to 11) who have English as their first language and are learning Arabic as a 2nd language. Memorization of the Quran is important, but equally important is for children to have an understanding of the Quran in their first language.
