COMMUNICATIONS

NLC faculty meet as necessary to decide on and plan school operations and events, report on student progress and solve any problems with implementing the curriculum.

The most essential staff meetings consist of the following throughout the year:

- Orientation meetings prior to the opening of the school

- Monthly staff meetings

- Annual staff appreciation breakfast

- Award Day at the end of the school year

Parent Meetings 

Parent / Teacher meetings are usually held twice during the school year; once in December and May. The specific dates for the meetings will be listed on the NLC calendar.

Parents are encouraged at this time to register their children for the following school year to ensure their space in class.

During the week, email is NLC’s preferred method of communication with parents. All parents are encouraged to provide a current email address as they will be responsible for receiving the school’s communications.
